Cookie Policy

1. What this page covers

This page lists the cookies and browser-storage keys that the NdovuSEOLabs SEO Intelligence Platform sets, what each one does, whether it is strictly necessary, and how long it persists. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

2. Strictly Necessary

These are required for the service to work safely and correctly. They are always set and cannot be disabled via the consent banner. Declining non-essential cookies does not affect them.

  • sb-<project>-auth-token: HTTP-only Supabase session cookie that keeps you signed securely into the platform. Expires when the session expires or you sign out.
  • oauth_link_state: A short-lived HTTP-only cookie used as a CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) token while linking a Google account. It is removed immediately after the OAuth callback.
  • ndovuseolabs_cookie_consent (localStorage): Remembers your choice on the consent banner so we don’t prompt you again. The value stored is either accepted or declined.

3. Analytics (Optional)

These are set only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the ndovuseolabs_cookie_consent key or by using your browser’s site-data tools.

  • PostHog cookies (prefixed with ph_): Stores an anonymous distinct-id, session id, and feature-flag state used by PostHog to deduplicate events, understand feature usage, and reproduce bugs. Persists for up to 1 year.
  • Note: On the marketing site (before sign-in), PostHog runs in cookieless mode, so no analytics cookies are set at all until you sign in and explicitly accept the banner.

4. Functional (Set by Sub-processors)

Some of our trusted third-party infrastructure providers may set cookies necessary for their services to function:

  • Stripe: May set fraud-prevention cookies on the checkout page (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These are strictly required for payment pages to function securely.
  • Vercel: May set a short-lived load-balancer cookie to route your request consistently to the correct server within a single session.

5. What We Do NOT Use

To protect your privacy and ensure compliance, the NdovuSEOLabs platform guarantees:

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No third-party social-media pixels (e.g., Facebook/Meta Pixel).
  • No cross-site tracking beyond the essential sub-processors listed above.

6. Managing Your Choices

You can use the consent banner the first time you visit our platform to make your choice. If you wish to change your preference later, you can clear the ndovuseolabs_cookie_consent key in your browser’s local storage to be prompted again.

Additionally, all modern browsers allow you to block, delete, or manage cookies on a per-site basis directly from their privacy settings.
